Sculptural in its own right, the Charcoal Sculpture Pedestal, crafted from solid Douglas Fir, undergoes the ancient shou-sugi-ban technique, revealing deep grooves and textures that evolve with time. As it ages, the wood tells its own story, expanding and shifting, showing hints of the natural grain beneath its burnished surface. Raw, organic, and unapologetically bold, this piece brings a sense of wild beauty into your home, letting nature take center stage.

Finish: The piece, made of solid Douglas Fir wood, is then treated with the shou-sugi-ban application of burning the first few layers of wood and finished with a clear matte seal.
