Beautiful Growth
 

2022 has truly been a year of growth, both personally and professionally. It’s amazing how quickly time flies. When we first brought Sofia–our oldest daughter–home from the hospital, we were both elated and exhausted. Friends and family reminded us that the days are long, but the years are short, and to always enjoy the present moment. It's funny how much this single piece of advice has served us, both in our personal lives as well as in our family business.
 
As we begin to wind down and prepare for the end-of-year festivities, I can't help but reflect on the incredible year we've had and the many things we are thankful for.  For instance, we officially launched our showroom this Summer and inaugurated the moment with a decadent “Summer Soirée.” We fully re-branded, developed a new website, and partnered with an incredible creative team to breathe new life into The Carpentry Shop Co. brand. We collaborated with talented makers, such as Lenna Keshishian and Joe Checci, on our home décor and children's puzzles. We're planning for our first print publication feature and a completely new collection aimed at reaching a wider audience—both dropping early next year…stay tuned!  Oh, and did I mention we purchased a beautiful, 18-room Bed & Breakfast located in picturesque Southern Vermont? Yes! Our newest project, Sugar Maple Inn, is in full swing and we'll be ready for limited reservations as early as January of 2023!
 
Our team is growing, our work is evolving, and our community is expanding each day. There is nothing more rewarding than hearing how happy our customers are and how our pieces continue to be the centerpiece of countless beautiful family moments. When I think about what I am most grateful for, two things come to mind: First, I have the most incredible team. We couldn't have grown and achieved nearly as much as we have, without them. Two, we have the best customers in the world. You continue to believe in us and push us to be better designers, better carpenters, better business owners, and better human beings. I feel incredibly excited for the future and feel honored to have your support along our journey!

This beautiful single-slab dining table was named after the picturesque town of Dorado, Puerto Rico.  Designed to encourage communication and connection, we focused on enhancing the natural beauty of the wood while offering a stunning place to gather and connect with the entire family. Slab-style dining tables offer smooth edges and beautiful slab-style legs. Voids and cracks are filled with the resin of your choice. Comfortably sits 6-8.

[Tables are made with EcoPoxy resin–an eco-friendly, sustainable, and bio-based product. We take great care to source from reputable dealers who air-dry the wood for years before sending it out to the kiln. We hand-pick each slab to ensure that our standards of quality, beauty, and functionality are met.]

We´re growing & getting better every moment! After nine incredible years, we are bidding farewell to our first family business, DCL Outdoors Landscaping, and re-emerging as TCSC Outdoors!

Starting January 2023, DCL will become TCSC Outdoors and offer a beautiful array of custom and made-to-order outdoor furnishings. We´re focusing on what we do best–elegant design, superb craftsmanship, and an unsurpassed client experience.
